Nowadays, the employment of college students is becoming more and more of a
problem. According to statistics, about 30% of graduate students can't find a
job after graduation. These college student who cannot find jobs are at their
worst. Why college graduates have difficulty finding jobs? Why is it a big
problem that puzzled people for years?

The reason for it is various. The main reason has the following points:
Firstly, the number of the college student is increasing faster and faster these
years. In addition, many colleges and universities fail to adapt their courses
to the development of economy.

Secondly, It's easy for some students to find work. But the fact is that some
students don't want to do the job, they except to find a work with a higher
salary. In addition, some graduates did not work hard in college, so they are
not competent for jobs they want.

Last but not least, some college students cannot come to terms with
themselves and with the world around them. They pursue too high goals and are
too particular about such factors as working conditions, salary, and so on.
Therefore, they are reluctant to accept the job when they are offered to
them.

How can we deal with the problem? In my opinion, students who are in colleges
must work harder than before to keep their competitiveness. Only in this way can
we find a suitable job. The government should take effective measures to expand
employment. I do believe that this problem will be resolved soon.

Man’s life is a process of growing up

Man’s life is a process of growing up, actually I’m standing here is a
growth. If a person’s life must constituted by various choices, then I grow up
along with these choices. Once I hope I can study in a college in future,
however that’s passed, as you know I come here, now I wonder what the future
holds for (= what will happen to) me.

When I come to this school, I told to myself: this my near future, all starts
here. Following I will learn to become a man, a integrated man, who has a fine
body, can take on important task, has independent thought, an open mind,
intensive thought, has the ability to judge right and wrong, has a perfect
job.

Once my teacher said :” you are not sewing, you are stylist; never forget
which you should lay out to people is your thought, not craft.” I will put my
personality with my interest and ability into my study, during these process I
will combine learning with doing. If I can achieve this “future”, I think that I
really grow up. And I deeply believe kindred, good-fellowship and love will
perfection and happy in the future.

How to say future? Maybe it’s a nice wish. Lets make up our minds, stick to

I’m very glad to stand here and give you a short speech. Today my topic is
“youth”. I hope you will like it, and found the importance in your youth so that

Youth

Youth is not a time of life, it is a state of mind; it is not rosy cheeks ,
red lips and supple knees, it is a matter of the emotions : it is the freshness
; it is the freshness of the deep springs of life .

Youth means a temperamental predominance of courage over timidity of the
appetite, for adventure over the love of ease. This often exists in a man of 60
more than a boy of 20 . Nobody grows old merely by a number of years. We grow
old by deserting our ideals.

Years wrinkle the skin, but to give up enthusiasm wrinkles the soul. Worry,
fear, self –distrust bows the heart and turns the spirit back to dust.

Whether 60 of 16, there is in every human being ‘s heart the lure of wonders,
the unfailing childlike appetite of what’s next and the joy of the game of
living . In the center of your heart and my heart there’s a wireless station: so
long as it receives messages of beauty, hope ,cheer, courage and power from men
and from the infinite, so long as you are young .

When the aerials are down, and your spirit is covered with snows of cynicism
and the ice of pessimism, then you are grown old ,even at 20 , but as long as
your aerials are up ,to catch waves of optimism , there is hope you may die
young at 80.

Soy food good for women

Women who ate soy regularly as children have a lower risk of breast cancer,
American researchers report. And men who eat fish several times a week have a
lower risk of colon cancer, a second team of researchers have told the American
Association for Cancer Research.

The studies add to a growing body of evidence about the role of diet in
cancer. Cancer experts now believe that up to two-thirds of all cancers come
from lifestyle factors such as smoking, diet and lack of exercise.

The US National Cancer Institute and researchers at the University of Hawaii
found that women who ate the most soy-based foods, such as tofu and miso, when
aged 5 to 11, reduced their risk of developing breast cancer by 58 per cent. It
was not clear how soy might prevent cancer, though compounds in soy called
isoflavones have estrogen-like effects.

A second study showed that men who ate fish at least five times a week had a
40 per cent lower risk of developing colorectal cancer compared with men who ate
fish less than once a week.

Many kinds of fish are rich in omega-3 fatty acids, which interfere with the
cyclooxygenase-2 or COX-2 enzyme. COX-2 affects inflammation, which may play a
role in tumour growth.

appear friendly. After all, our facial expression is an important part of our
appearance. If we can do this, people will be attracted to our good looks and
impressed by our confidence.

Another important step is developing more consideration for others. We should
always put others first and place their interests before our own. It's also
important to be good listeners; in this way people will feel comfortable enough
to confide in us. However, no matter what we do, we must not gossip. Above all,
we must remember to be ourselves, not phonies. Only by being sincere and
respectful of others can we earn their respect. If we can do all of the above, I
am sure popularity will come our way.
